Hi all!
I picked two male babies up from Jen's on Saturday afternoon (Tinker and the
babies are all sooo gorgeous!!!). They have settled in brilliantly and the
introduction to my two year old male, Louie couldn't have gone better.
Louie has been so gentle with the babies, he was a little unsure at first
and kept out of their way, but as I type they are all snuggled up together
in their box! The babies think Louie is brilliant and follow him around
jumping on and off his back and he just lets them. He seems to have cheered
up now - he had been so down since Oscar died. Not sure on technical names
for colours of rats but one baby is a very pale fawn and white colour (have
named him Alvie) and the other is dark brown and white (called him Max).
Haven't got round to taking photos yet, but will do soon! They are still a
little timid about coming out to explore, although they did have a few runs
round on the bed yesterday. They loved going under the covers and pillows.
At the moment Alvie is the most confident around people, Max is a little
shy. They are a bundle of energy at the moment and after having a couple of
hours sleeping wake up and dart around playing like there's no tomorrow -
they keep trying their best to make Louie join in, but he's far too lazy!
Thanks again Jen for such gorgeous babies!

Congrats on your adoption! It's great that people from the NG got to meet
also. Louie sounds like a wonderful big brother. j

to be as happy as little ratties can be :o)
Keep me posted on how it goes. It's definitely strange here without Alvie
