I'm so sorry for your loss. I just lost my step dad on Sept. 18. I was as
close to him as anybody could be to their father so I know how you feel.

My sincerest condolences Laurie. I lost my Mum when I was 13 and my Dad 9
years later. It's a hard thing to deal with, but Memories are always with
you and although you will never forget, the pain does get easier. Just take
each day as it comes

Thanks Bob, and everyone else. This is really difficult for me. Not only
have I just lost my dad, he was also my buddy, my friend, and pretty much my
main focus for the last ten years. I will also have to find another place
to live with all my 'kids' as the house will have to be sold and divided
among my sibs.
