You lovebird is adorable. I would love to trade. I got my two-month old
peach-faced lovebird on 8/2 and he is anything but lovable, although she was
hand-fed. Her wings are clipped, but not much as she can fly from the ground
up to his cage on a table. She likes to come out of her cage and fly around
the room, then she just likes to sit in top of her cage. She will pirch
(sp?) on a stick for a moment before flying away. She won't sit on my hand
at all, and when cupped between my hands she is very fidgety and unhappy.
Any help would be appreciated a great deal. Thank you!

Chances are that she may never get as friendly as you would like, but there
are a few things you can try.
First, clip the wings to the point that she can not fly up. That way, she
will have to depend more on you for transportation, and help with the
bonding. Have someone else do the cliping, as she will be hard to forgive
you for doing that.
Second, never cup a bird in your hands, if they are uncomfortable with it.
It is instinct to want to be ready for escaping from danger.
Find a favorite treat, and use it as positive reinforcement of behaviors you
want to have happen.
Good luck--
