Re: Advice for Pet Bird-Linnie - CLICK HERE for the Pet Manual Forum Home Page

I have seen meyers in Canada for less than that...aroun 300/400 CDN.

Have you thought about a Linnie? I live in an apartment and after a lot of
research i found out it seems to be the most suitable, and working outside
home, it seems it is a bird can keep playing by itself without missing
much...

Just a thought

Mike Marchand
I 'll have to look around for a breeder... that's a considerable savings
over $1000 !!! I don't suppose you know of any breeders in BC / Fraser
Valley & Lower Mainland area, do you?

I've read about liniolated parakeets also & they seem like nice birds...
plus I also work all day and its a bonus if the bird will be happy by
himself.

So many choices! I usually deal with a local pet store which always deals
with locally bred birds & other animals and always had good luck with them,
but they are expensive and the selection is not that great.
