Or shall I say that Wylie is going to interview Kylie? I read several
weeks ago about a family who needed to give up their beloved Wylie because
his cagemate had died and he was lonesome. Since they weren't really in a
position to get another ferret at this time, they were seeking a very
special family for their very beloved little guy. He sounds very very
special and would be a joy to have in as part of our family. I've had
little Wylie on my mind every since reading that so.......
Yesterday I contacted Wylie's mommy and asked about him and she said they
had not yet found an acceptable home for him. Kylie and I will be making a
trip to to the Phoenix area on Wednesday to see if they would like to be
brother and sister. I can see how it will be getting confusing around here
with a 'kylie' and a 'wylie', so life could get even more interesting than
usual. Keep your fingers crossed for us that they will love each other -
this could be the one!!! I'm sooooo excited - I can hardly wait!!

Yes,glad someone else noticed that too. ;-) The funny thing is that when
I'm getting silly with kylie I call her "Kylie O'Riley" so now I'm
wondering, will her new brother be "Wylie O'Riley"? And if so, is it
possible to say that three times fast?????? LOL

You know what's going to happen? Whenever you speak to one, the other will think
you are speaking to it, too! It was that way with sis' dog, "Tawney", and my
cat, "Troni" - they never did figure out the differences between their names!

confused.

Yep, then comes the inevitable confusion of the person speaking the names. We
were often using the wrong name with the wrong animal, too. The poor animals
were just as confused as the people were! :o)

Yup, I can see this is definitely going to cause some issues. Hopefully
they will both forgive me and we'll all manage.
I'm getting soooo excited. I just talked to Wylie's mommy and she's
expecting us around 3pm tomorrow afternoon for the big Kylie/Wylie
introduction. I felt so bad for her; she's already depressed thinking of
him being gone. I hope I can assure her that he will get nothing but the
best of everything and tons of love from his new family. I can only imagine
how hard it must be to give one up. I just dont' think I could do it. God
bless her for doing what she feels is best for him instead of taking the
easy way out for herself.
Will let you know when we get back how the introductions went and if he
actually does choose to come home with us! (I'M SO EXCITED!!!!) Our
intention is only to do what is best for both of them, however that turns
out.
jumpingmouse & kylie ........and *maybe* wylie ???
