I've been giving this a LOT of thought lately and even tho I swore that
Kylie was going to be an only child, I think we're now going to open
ourselves to the possibility of finding a little brother or sister for her.
It's not something we're going to actively go out and hunt down, but if the
opportunity presents itself, we will see how she does with another one and
at least give it a chance. I just can't imagine that she will accept
another ferret, but I think she's probably as secure in her home as she's
going to be and hopefully she will be ready to share all her toys, love,
and her mommy (that's where the problem may come in, but let's hope not).
She still has never warmed up to my other half and thinks the dog is just
something to be tormented. Sara has tried every trick in the book and the
most she can get Kylie to do is chase her briefly. I think the dog and
hubby both would enjoy a ferret that they could enjoy more than just
watching from afar. It will be interesting to see what comes our way. If
anyone knows of a little one anywhere in our area that really needs a good
loving home, we'd love to hear from you! (Arizona preferably - since we're
fairly remote here in Yuma, AZ, I don't mind driving to find that special
one that would be compatible with her)

I'm very happy to hear that. I'm sure Kylie will be thrilled.
