You know. That so annoys me. You take foster and take all the oldies.That's
so good but shouldn't be. People dumping any animal when it gets old should
be made to forcibly move and change everything they like. Or even better
make them pay for it's keep. It's like dumping the elderly which I saw
frequently when I was a Geriatric nurse. 'Can't be arsed' is what they are
really saying when they say 'needs a quiet place to wind down in their old
age'.

I hear what you say Selkie but you and I know that people will dump
whatever the age. SOme are simply released, and others end up in rescue
because people want a nice new working ferret as the oldie slows down.
Nothing would make these people think about what they are doing and the
lucky ones end up in rescue. Youngsters will always find a new home, but not
the oldies. If I can take the oldies, it relieves some of the pressure on
hard pushed rescue centres to be able to take in more homeable ones.Besides,
I rather like the oldies :0)
