ok, My mistake, I worded my last question wrong. I am in Jax Fla, I
already own 2 female ferrets, "stinky and smoky" I am in the market for
a male (not for breeding) ferret. I am looking for a specific color
type. Such as a silver-mitt or a sterling silver. I have gone to most
of the pet shops in my area (and then some) searching for theses types.
However, all they seem to carry are the sables and pandas. I also
inquired, to see if they could specialty order them from Marshall's.
And they informed me that get what is brought to them.
I have also gone to marshalls.com, but could not find any info. on how
to obtain a ferret with such color schemes.

In *that* case, perhaps you need to read Ruth's post here about the
Titusville rescue. I'm sure that, once they get the all clear, health-wise,
some of those babies will need a home.

Ruth,
I just love the marked_whites2 pic! It warms my heart to see them look so
comfortable, but then it breaks my heart because I know why they're there.

I guess they were so used to sleeping in a pile, that when they got to the
shelter - they still piled up. They will soon enough have loving homes
again!

I wish I had the money, time, and room for one more. I've always wanted a
white baby and there sure are a lot of 'em in this rescue!
