I clean once a week, and use an electric air cleaner in the room. Works
like a charm.

We use the paper pellets and do a complete replacement every other day (two
fuzzies) I also wipe out the empty pan with a disenfecting wipe. Lysol
make one.

We made the mistake of putting one of those Airwic type air fresheners in
their room. (Not inthe cage but up on a shelf).......... discovered that
one of the boys was alergic or sensitive to it.

The paper pellets litter is rather cheap if you buy it at the grocery store
in bags that are marketed for cats.
