isn't it robin. such a hard day for me. i thought this year would be a
little easier but it's actually more difficult.
please say a prayer for all those families that have lost someone special.

you're right mickey--it does seem a little harder than last year--i work and
lived in lower manhatten that day (have since moved to the bronx), and have
to head to work now--i can't seem to stop crying or tear myself away from
the tv and the reading of the names--guess i'll be late---that day is
running over and over in my mind and i can't seem to get it out of my
head--hubby's driving me to work cause i don't want to deal with the subway
this morning--i will continue praying and will certainly say a special
prayer for richard--guess we just need to talk about it--i work at a day
program for HIV Pos and People Living with Aids and there will be a lot of
talking and crying going on today--i almost don't want to go, but have
to--thanks for listening

I will pray for your cousin, Mickey. It's not easier this year - all those
black, painful memories are still there.
I know that awful day touched New Yorkers, and Americans, in a more direct
and agonizing way than it did for the rest of us. But I hope you understand
what a tremendous blow it was to anyone with any kind of human feelings,
anywhere in the world. I was walking around in a tearful daze for weeks,
months even, afterwards, and I certainly wasn't alone. My thoughts and my
heart were with you then, as they are now.

I share exactly the same feelings....even though I wasn't directly involved
in all that...except for being terrified when they couldn't find my
husband's plane on that day...!
Lots of thoughts for you,Mickey,and for everybody else who suffered a loss

It somehow makes it easier knowing that this day is hard for others,
too.
What's making it worse here in NYC is that the weather is so similar tp
that day 2 years ago.
9/11/01 was an utterly gorgeous day, just like today.
It's so sad.
And it's still unreal after 2 years.
Yet real and wonderful people are gone. Mickey, I lit a candle for your
cousin and the Kelly family.
And some unspeakably evil ones are still walking around.

Hey mickey, I'm saying a prayer for your cousin's family. I still remember
walking by his firehouse...so sad...
This morning on my way in to work i was listening to the radio and they had
the kids who'd lost a parent at the WTC saying their parent's name. They
just sounded so innocent and sweet, and so very sad...it made me cry.
