Thank you everyone for all your healing and vibes, Baby is doing a bit
better, still force feed, sometimes he goes to his pellets bowl and looked
at it and down away, like he is hungry but doesnt want to eat, so this
morning i give him BBT and he eat some of it (BBT for snowbelle, jazz and
shadow) they are older, Baby only 7 months so he been eating purina, is it
ok to let him eat BBT? i give him anythings as long as he eat for me, any
advise is very graceful.

yes, the bbt is fine for baby. so long as he is willing to eat then he is
on the road to recovery.
the one piece of advice i have is this: even if baby starts to eat on his
own, you should still try to syringe feed him once or twice a day. both
times morgan had gi stasis, i made the mistake of stopping the syringe
feeding after i saw her nibble a bit on something. she immediately stopped
eating again. the stasis lasted longer than necessary.
good luck and just take it slow. baby will be fine with all the tlc you're
giving him.

Oh Nhu, I'm so happy to know that Baby is doing better.....it's such great
news...you are taking very good care of him....!!
I do agree to keep force feeding him until he's 100%....
I really don't know what BBT is....can you please tell me?Fresh wet herbs
are very good to help stimulate his appetite...try with fresh
cilantro, mint, parsley(the flat Italian one is a little better),dill.....try
to break the mint's leaves...he'll smell the aroma right away and that might
be very appealing to him...!Just try...I saw you got all the baby food and
pumpkin....etc.I know you are still worried, and I also know how happy you
are because of his improvement....!!!
Keep us updated......
(((hugs to you and Baby)))

Nhu,
It's great to hear of Baby's progress.
You are doing a wonderful job with him.
Do you have any idea what might have brought this on?
BTW, I agree with Mickey 100% about the BBT and continued force-feeding.

i hope that this gets to you because i've had trouble posting and
wanted to let you know before now that i'm sending *major* healing
vibes for baby...
i'm so glad he's begun to nibble. keep force-feeding as often as you
can. i've found that sometimes with stasis, if you can just get a
little in the tummy they'll start to eat on their own again. so after
you do the syringe thing, make sure there's plenty of enticing greens,
hay, and pellets nearby if he feels like eating on his own.
one thing we found to work was putting fresh parsley in a blender with
water. i'd syringe this parsley mush into bubbles' mouth, and try to
slowly get a good amount in his tummy. then i'd have parsley out for
him, along with a few of his other favorite greens, and in a couple of
hours he'd be eating again. if there was always a little something in
his stomach, things went better. we'd have to start over each day.
hope this helps,
marri and bubbles and isabel and lois.

thank you marri,
i have everything for him, yesterday i went 3 times to the stories and today
2 times so far, everytime i read everyone posts so i went out and get it, he
is doing much better, sometime he does not want to eat, i take hay or
parsley or dandelion put right in his face, first he turned his head away
but i keep putting it there, so annoying him enough he eat it lol, my poor
baby, i kept checking on him every 5-10 min. all he want is to be left
alone.

BBT is quite alright for him, since 7 months is full grown and bunnies don't
need so much protein or calcium as the alfalfa based pellets. If he likes
them, let him eat!
