A very good weekend here with my housebuns!
Dinks has always been a bit standoffish. Loved head rubs and butt
scritches, but not much of anything else. Since the arrival of Randy, he's
been seeking more attention while trying to show Randy who's the #1 bun.
This weekend was the first time since April that I've seen him flop... and
to add to it, he let me rub his tummy. I was soooo excited.
Randy really made me happy, too. He is free roam during the day, but I put
him in the big carrier at night for his own safety. Last night he was
flopped by the door of the cage and I rubbed his tummy... he licked my
fingers and chewed them like he does his own fur!
I can't tell you how happy I am with these two happenings. I thought it
would take Randy a long time to be so trusting. LOL... I must be doing
something right!

I love seeing my guys flop.
That tells me that there is nothing
more that I need to do to make
the bunnies any happier as they
are in full bunny euphoria.
Sasha lives for the bunny flop.
If she did not like the way she did it,
she will get up and do another one.

And I think there is nothing cuter after they flop than seeing them so relaxed
and trusting that they sleep with their eyes all the way closed. BB dreams and I
can always tell when he is in dreamland ... his ears and nose twitch.

I have to agree with you. My little Boo Boo sleeps on his side with his eyes
closed and it is so cute. I wouldn't think that a rabbit that is so darn
defensive would do that, but he does.
