Well,Bailey is still on the meds, supposed to be for another week but he is
not eating anything.Only when he is force-fed with a syringe which is trying
on both him and me.I'm wondering if it's the medication that's making him
not want to eat,I'm calling the vet again tomorrow to see what else I should
do.I'm at my wits end trying to get him to eat anything but he doesn't even
try!

Hi Leona,
I was really sorry to hear that Bailey is not well.
He is such an adorable bunny.
If it is any comfort, I forcefed Pinky for about a month, twice a day,
when she was fighting GI stasis.
No, It isn't a picnic, but it can be done without excessive damage or
trauma to anyone (although the bun probably will not like it).
If you'd like my description of how I forcefeed, let me know.
Good luck with Bailey!
I sympathize with your stress--I, too, find forcefeeding--and having a
sick bunny--most unsettling.
But when the bun is not eating, forcefeeding is necessary and can be a
lifesaver.

Nona, I imagine there are a few of us who would like a description of how you force-feed. I imagine
it could be very traumatic especially for the bun if it isn't handled right.
