jacquie, kylie & gilbert
7-03-2005: I would have given anything to have had a camera in my hand a
few minutes ago. In our home in Yuma, the ferrets are totally blocked off
from the kitchen; here in Payson the kitchen is central in the house, but
it's not a problem because there's no place they can get into trouble UNLESS
I forget to move this one chair - then they can get up on the countertop
(minor detail he he). I had just gotten the kids out to play and the dog
wanted in the house, so I went to let her in (I had *not* moved the chair
I'm supposed to move tho). I come back literally 30 seconds later and as I'm
walking the dog back to the bedroom, I see something brown move on the
countertop - omagod, it's Gilbert and he's bent over the toaster and peering
into the deepest reaches trying to figure out "wonder what this thing
does..." He saw the look on my face as I reached for him (half laughing
while trying to say "no no", so he figures he can push his luck a little
further and he grabs tight onto the toaster, so I literally have to pry him
off of it!! Who said the Maytag man was out of business????
