I haven't been able to find much information at all on ferret color or marking genetics . . . so I'm wondering if anybody here knows. all I've been able to dig up so far is that albino is recessive . . . as in most animals. which isn't much. so basically I'm wondering which color is dominant to another, same with markings, and also exaclty how WS happens . . . because given the popularity of white markings on the head, it doesn't seem to me like they'd always cause deafness, but I'm not sure.
