Millie and anyone else who has shown the same touching concern for me
and my ferrets...... these guys were at the shelter for three and a
half weeks, their vaccinations records brought in with them,
vaccinations all brought up to date AND ADV tested and not done by that
place where Barb Clay had to have THREE of her ferrets destroyed this
past year just before Ferret Stock (and don't tell anyone but she
didn't tell this to anyone, she let her close friends come to the event
and bring their ferrets into a KNOWN ADV contaminated area. Remember
ladies, this is a HUGE secret so don't tell anyone, it might get Barb
into some problems or at the very least it could hurt her creditability
or even cause a drop in donations. Don't forget, it is our little
secret) Don't ya just hate it when stuff comes home to roost.....

So in answer to your question Mills, the ferrets didn't require being
quarnt. But I do thank you for your concern no matter how misplaced.
Back in bed now Millie.... remember doctor's orders.....

Kimaaaayyyyyyy and Groan Joan and all the rest. LOL LOL My God if you
guys only knew half as much as you THINK you know, you could head up a
large company instead of having a poop scoop welded in each hand, well
first you would have to put down your drink or Kim your needle full of
dope.

Oh and Kim, just so you know, the ferrets were NOT anywhere near the
dogs or the cats, please if you won't give me any credit for knowing
anthing, at least give credit to the fine people who operate this
shelter, they were in an entirely different location in the building,
not even breathing the same air. This is a brand spanking new builing,
state-of-the-art, some lady died and left them a million dollars to
build their new shelter and get out of the old one.

But again ladies, I do thank you for your concern, I am always so
touched at how you all worry, fuss, and fret over me.

quarantine?

Of course not!! As usual, KFK, you brought home two strange ferrets and
just threw them in with the others.
Bet no ADV testing was done either. You are such an irresponsible
person.

You think you are a savior to the ferret world. What you really are is
a ferret's worst nightmare. I can smell your stench.

Her failure to quarantine new ferrets has always made it obvious that
she was lying about testing for ADV. She could care less about
spreading disease or stressing out the new ones even further...when
they die, she just goes looking for more.

And the sad part is that she finds them. She is such the drama queen
that she has to have sick and dying ferrets to look the big shot.

Especially since they came from a dog/cat shelter....god forbid they
had some distemper puppies come in on the day she picked them up.

If that happened, I'd hate to be a ferret in her house on Tuesday. Sad

How irresponsible, stupid and just asking for trouble. Poor, poor
ferrets.

Hmm... anyone notice how this thread didn't make it over to APF?

Gosh, I can't imagine why!

Oh yeah -- it proves that KFK is a rotten, ****ty ferret owner!

She doesn't even wait for them to die before getting more. What's one
more (or 2 or 3) they are small.
