Are you ok ?

Brian S.
lying low, thanks for asking. I don't have it in me to do the extensive
cleaning and all yet. Feels like it was a dream, especially since he went
before my eyes. I knew it was comming, just it isn't something we all want.
I guess with any pet you take on board it is hard to see them leave.

Take your time. When we lost Road Kill it took me MONTHS to finally get rid of
his medicine. It was sitting right there on the shelf above my desk, and I just
couldn't bring myself to pick it up and move it a couple of feet to the trash.
Doing so made it so "final."

Yep...totally understandable. I still haven't gotten rid of George's
medicine. And it's been over a year. :(

Cinnamon Sprite
I've lost 6, 4 of which went in my arms (the other two at the vet).
Each had a favorite toy or hammy, etc, that I've never been able to
bring myself to allow the others to use. It's always hard. Allow
yourself all the time you need, Brian.

Brian S.
Yup I know what your talking about. i certainly took out his favorites and
they will be with him when he gets back. that will be stressful as well.
walked in tonight and my neices were over and I didn not know that they were
going to go upstairs and they found out there was an empty cage and I had to
tell them. They cried alot. I had to leave the house. There is nothing I
could do but they would babysit for him while I got him medicine and food.
Brought back all the emotions.

I still have things here from Wilson. In any case Buster is missed. He
fought good I tell ya....

Thanks all..

Brian, im with you.

:'(

I hope your heart mends soon Brian.

Brian S.
Well. I feel for the gals and guys that have many or even just one but I
can't see how everyone deals with them. I suppose you have to have a mindset
that once you have one onboard you have to go with it. Certainly, they can't
live forever. I will get a fuzzy and he/she is promised before i leave that
they have a forever home. i would cut the lawn and call my neice to watch
him. He was not left alone, nor anyone prior. A pet can't tell you what is
wrong, and certainly that is bad part.

I cry often and would of paid more for one more day. But Buster said this is
my last one and thanks for the nice drink you gave me before something took
him. He was a fighter. I still think about him. He is not home yet. Wilson
is up in the box waiting for his younger brother to come home.

In any case. It hits hard. Everyone tell them fuzzies to dance and hit the
ground running....... :) nothing like em'

We all hurt really bad when we loose a fuzzy friend no matter what.
Some a lot more that others.
I really really hoped your Buster would pull through and I was shocked when
I read Buster R.I.P
But he was SO lucky to wind up with you !!
Some people I think are born to bear extra hardships and burdens.
I think you have a special place after this.
My next male pet will still be named Brian after you.
