I just got off the phone with my local vet. I had told you all last friday
that the lady at the front desk at the vet didnt know what she was talking
about. Well....She said today (The vet tech) that she has worked there for
12 years and no one has EVER asked for a ADV test for any ferret. It about
made me drop my phone. She said all they have ever done was distemper
shots. I was outraged!!!!! I always knew of ADV but didn't know what it
exactly was until recently. That means in my town....of about 70,000 and
there are ferrets sold all the time...NO ONE is doing ADV testing. Wow...Im
scared now!
