I'm very sad and disappointed about the events that have been taking place
on APF. Many good and kind people are leaving because of the public
fighting. What happened to the love and concern for out fuzzy friends?
<sighs> I hope the children that come here don't learn to spew venom and to
use lanugage they see here.

Both sides are equally disgusting, and I wouldn't trust any one of them
anymore.

If these bitches would stop their **** and tell the truth, I would be
gone and you would never hear another word out of me. I have not done
even a fraction of what these bitches claim I have.

Joan
Indeed you have, KFK, and I have no doubt there's more that even you
are too ashamed to post about. Your own words have already been posted
here to prove you murdered Murphy's kittens out of spite despite your
later lies to the contrary. Your stories change continually and the
later embellishments only provide further proof that your original one
was not true.

Yes its a bit disappointing, but for me, I'm not going anywhere. apf is the
ideal spot for info and sharing about our beloved pets. As for the off
topic nonsense, I just ignore it and when it seems appropriate, block
further messages from the worst offenders. I encourage other right minded
ferret fanciers here to do the same. - CW

JOannie baby, I only hope and pray I live long enough to read about
each and every one of you a horrific and horribly painful death. That
will put a sweet smile on my face, all of you so richly deserve it,
hell it makes me smile just to think about it. I hope it is long,
painful, and particularly sad and full of suffering for each of you.
Have a great day!!!

How is it you can block them? Simply by using an actual newsgroup
reader as opposed to the webpage?
I'd be ecstatic to halve th elist of what I see, since 75-80% seems to
be wholly pointless.

chasw
C: I use the news reader that is part of Outlook Express since it comes
bundled with my Microsoft operating system. Therefore its a simple matter
for me to permanently eliminate all messages from unwanted posters ever
again appearing in my view of apf. I believe most other readers have the
same feature.

Procedure: You simply highlight the offending message from the unwanted
poster, then move your cursor to the top of the main page, click on
messages, move the cursor down the drop down list and click on block sender.
Thereafter, that person's postings will not be visible to you when you open
apf.

Unfortunately, you still have to wade through postings from all the good
people who unwittingly perpetuate the nonsense by responding to the unwanted
poster. However, if more of us block offensive, mudslinging, off topic
posters, the quantity of junk messages would be greatly reduced. My policy
with internet abuse is to ignore it, since responding in kind only serves to
drags the responder down into the same morass.

Hope that helps - CW
