Hello, I wonder if anyone has any tips for me.
My Border Collie, Tess who is 10 years old suffers every summer from an allergy. We live near farm-land and according to the vet she's allergic to something in the air around this time which makes her nervous and itch resulting in a rash. Medications that previously worked don't seem to be helping much now. The itching makes her very agitated; she is generally a nervous dog, frightened of thunderstorms and fireworks (any loud noises actually) and gets really stressed at times, so at this time of year it's double-up! There isn't any medication to-date that has been tried that's helped her combat her stress; at the moment I'm experimenting with Bach flower remedies, hoping I can find the right remedy or combination of remedies (incl. rescue) which can help her. Probably because of her age her stress causes incontinence lately and the vet doesn't know how to deal with the incontinence as it's stress-related.
Any tips would be more than welcome.
