My 13 year old Chow Chow mix has a large cyst on her shoulder...I called her vet and he said to bring her in and they could drain it...a cost of about $130....I can't afford that, so we got a sterilized needle at the feed store and drained it ourselves and monitored it so it wouldn't get infected...but now, a week later, the same pocket is filling back up with fluid...
Does anyone know why this happens? And does anyone have any suggestions?
