Let's talk about perseverence. Let's talk about Jean at Ferrets
Unlimited. 2
yrs ago, Jean had stage 3 cancer - a pinapple-sized tumor in her left
thigh.
She had several major surgeries, dying on the table during one of them
(brought back, of course - dead people can't post).

The whole time, she *continued* to run her shelter. She still is doing
so.

And all you've done is write a book that your publisher won't even
print
until enough people order it? Oh, poor overworked & underappreciated
baby!

Pleeeeeease!!

This was my response:
So now it's a contest of who had the worst case of cancer?
You people are un-freakin-believeable

Maybe, one day, you can be diagnosed with a stage 3 or 4 cancer...then
email me and tell me how wonderful life is and how happy you are to
have the opportunity to battle a life threatening illness.

You have no idea how frightening it is to sit in the Doctor's office
and here him say, "I'd like to recommend an Oncologist"
You have no idea how it feels to have surgery scheduled to remove
organs.
You have no idea how difficult it is to go home after surgery with
drains and tubes coming out of your body.
You have no idea what it feels like when a tumor is removed.
You have no idea of how bad it feels to see the looks of pity on
people's faces when you say "I have cancer."
You have no idea how painful it is for your mother, father, sister,
brother, children or spouse to watch your pain and suffering.
You have no idea of the level of pain that is involved.
You have no idea of how long 80 days really is until you have to spend
those 80 days in your bed because you are too sick and in too much pain
to try to move.
You have no idea how hard it is to be a cancer patient and have to
watch a loved one die from cancer, listening to her say "Well, if one
of us has to die, I want it to be me"
And she DID die.
You have no idea, and for your sake, I hope you never do.
This devastated my life, and I would not wish it on even my worst
enemy.
It is NEVER about whose cancer is worse.
Cancer sucks.

I read one of Karen McCabe's many personal profiles on an internet
group just a few days ago. Karen included in her profile that she has
MS [Multiple Sclerosis]
Now I do not know if this is true or not, but I would not dare question
it's validity.
I would never write a post and tell Karen, "Well, at least your
symptoms aren't as bad as so&so's"
If she does suffer from MS I feel sorry for her, it is a difficult and
debilitating illness.
And if Karen doesn't have MS, I am very happy for her...maybe I
mis-read the post [although I do not believe I did.]

Joan
I am sorry that you have cancer, but that does not excuse the filth and
venom you have posted over the past few days. Nor does it suddenly
make you qualified to write a book on ferret care. That your publisher
has a dubious reputation and is under investigation for scam artist
tactics attests to the quality of the book.

So why don't you just keep it going Joan?
Is your life so empty that you have nothing better to do?
Filth & Venom??
I merely respond in a language they understand.
So what? My publisher had a bad review written about them.
What, in God's name, does that have to do with me?
Wendy's got negative press, did everyone stop eating hamburgers?
I have no complaints about my publishing company, they did a great job
on my book and have been very professional and supportive.
And I did not say that having cancer QUALIFIED me to write a book.
I said being ill for months enabled me to use that time to write a
book.
And I seriously doubt that you are sorry about the fact that I have
cancer.
I know you don't care one iota.
Climb back up to your ivory tower dear, I hope you enjoy the view.

Joan
I am very sorry to hear that ANYONE has cancer and that even includes
you, Sharon. I don't dislike you since I don't know you other than
through what you have written here., but I do dislike the filth and
venom in your posts as I stated. I am also sorry that you are so
filled with bitterness that you feel the necessity to spew it here.

lighthouseferrets@yahoo.com
Uh yeah Sharon, I think that is the correct info on McBitch woops,
McKabe but the MS stands for MUCHO-STUPID

lighthouseferrets@yahoo.com
Better answer your phone Joannie baby, I sure the vadican will be
calling you any day now.

American Ferrets
I think you need to expand your vocabulary Joan.
I am not 'filled with bitterness' and I don't believe I've spewed
anything lately.
Let me check....
Nope! No spewing here.
If calling a few people a**holes is offensive to you, I would suggest
joining an online church group, or something that will be more
agreeable to your sensitivities.
I haven't been vulgar or disgusting....perhaps you are thinking of some
of the posts written by Millie or Ruth, I haven't used words nearly as
bad as those foul-mouthed 'women'.
And, I would like to remind you that I kept paying close attention to
what happened on the [now defunct] ATF board and you have been as much
involved in all of this as the rest.
Don't bother polishing your halo, I doubt it even fits anymore.

rebecca.mcclaskey@gmail.com
Actually, in regard to Wendy's, yes, people did. Didn't stop eating
hamburgers, but they stopped going to the offensive place, nation wide.

Not that any of this matters. Just a little piece of trivia. Seems
like nothing here has been on topic the past few days, or the real
topic: Ferrets.

Just an observation.

I have no idea who's profile you were reading but I can assure you it
was not mine. I do not have and have never claimed to have MS.

lighthouseferrets@yahoo.com
McBitch has MS?? You mean like MUCHO-STUPID?? Hell I knew that
already.

Ruth
Do you ever read what you write? You contradict yourself at every turn. You
have spewed a vile and venomous stream since you started posting at APF.
Since you like trying to find dirt on me with online searches, I ask you
again - where am I foul mouthed?
Maybe you need to pay closer attention.
