Stolen Scaley Breasted Lorikeet - Brisbane, QLD - CLICK HERE for the Pet Manual Forum Home Page
Aaurora
If anyone knows any information, I would be so grateful to receive it.

Today our beautiful and loved Scaley Breasted Lorikeet was stolen from
his cage.

Both of his wings are clipped, he talks, is very tame and friendly.

He was stolen from Mt Warren Park, which is near Beenleigh on Brisbanes
southside, Australia.

There is a very large reward offered if he is returned to us!

Please contact me at merrylittlehobbit@hotmail.com if you know of
anything.

Please help....we are devastated.

We were at work. We leave him in a large, locked cage during the day so
he can enjoy the other native lorikeets come in for their feed and he
can play outdoors.

The lock on his cage was busted off.

It has now been 5 days with no sign of our bird. We have put up
posters, told vets, rang pet stores, the police came around, posted on
most Internet lost and founds, searched the streets and the bush, put
an ad in the paper....nothing.

We have had a telephone call each day from someone saying they thought
they found our bird but it's been false alarms. I am encouraged by the
fact that all our adverts are working, people are taking notice and
they are trying to help.

It is up to fate now to decide what to do.

I wish we had him back, he was so precious to us. It saddens me to
think of him and what he is doing and what they did to him.

Thanks for your support.
