Hello,
My Wife and I have found what appears to be a second or third degree burn on
the back of the Ferret we are babysitting.
On questioning the owner over the phone,it appears she sustained it after a
new cooker was fitted and the oven was on.
My question is,what type of cream can we apply to give her some relief,as
she is not her usual self.

TAKE HER TO THE VET ASAP. Burns are nothing to sneeze at in humans, much
less in something as small as a ferret. Cripes, I sustained four 3rd degree
burns on the back of my left leg almost *5 mos ago*, & I'm still dealing w/
the pain, not to mention the healing. Burns can become infected *very*
easily, & even when they're not infected, they hurt like hell.
Do it today.

Thanks for the replies.We could find no vets that were open
today,(London,England,Bank Holiday) even a Blue Cross Emergency number was
not being answered.
We are taking Her to the Vet tomorrow.
