We just lost a male sable to adrenal disease last week. Sammy had shown no
symptoms of having this disease other than when he was sleeping he would
fall out of his sack at night. Sammy was a Marshal ferret of three years. My
wife and I have decided to replace him with a ferret from a different
breeder but I have not been able to find one locally. I live in sothern
Vermont near the MA border. We are willing to travel a short distance to
get a kit if anybody knows of a breeder close by. Not Marshal!!! You can
email me atcharlied@sover.net if you don"t want to post about it. Info will
be kept confidential.

Celtic Ferret
have you tried Ferret Central and American Ferret Association. I know
there are several well known shelters around your states.

Why not stop by a ferret shelter and take a look at all the little
fuzzies who would love going home with a loving owner? Although a lot
of shelters seem to have "pairs" instead of "single" ferrets.

I agree w/ the others - get a shelter ferret. These little guys need good,
loving, Forever Homes. You can be fairly sure that they'll be up-to-date on
their medical care, nip trained if that was necessary, spayed & neutered, &
*majorly* in need of love.
