Amazon Blue looking for GOOD home - CLICK HERE for the Pet Manual Forum Home Page
mikelaka@hotmail.com
I purchased Chiquita a little over a year ago from an older woman that
was going to live with her daughter and could no longer maintain the
Amazon Blue Parrot. She is approx 4-5 years old.. and she is awesome..
however, lately, I have not been home and haven't been able to let her
out of her cage or play with her.. so she did the natural thing.. and
bit me. I unfortunately do not have the time any more to spend with
her on a regular basis, and I am looking to find a great home for her
and the cage, which is almost 6 feet tall. She talks quite a bit, is
in great shape, and almost always is in great spirits (unless sh'es
left unattended a day or two). Please submit all offers to
laka@mccolly.com or reach me directly at 708-372-3994. Thank You..
anyone interested must have knowledge of parrots, and be willing to
accept the responisbilities associated. This is not for someone
unfamiliar or looking for a "kool" pet. I really do love Chiquita, and
want to find a great home for her. We're located in the chicagoland
area, approx 33 miles directly south of the city of Chicago directly.

Possibly, but considering the posters severe lack of knowledge regarding the
bird, it could be just about anything.

That's right, all parrots are exactly alike, so bothering to know what kind
it is is irrelevant.

He/she said it was an Amazon. What was that severe lack of knowledge?
Calling it an Amazon Blue?

He/she said it was an Amazon. You have any proof to the contrary? I
was replying to your girlfriend Molly who made her usual stupid
statement that he/she couldn't have loved the bird much because he/she
didn't know the correct name

He called it an amazon blue - That's not even a common (vs scientific)
parrot name. So who's to say it's actually an amazon at all?

Ther's no proof (or even a slight hint) that he has a clue.
