Nat
Do these particular birds have a sense of smell?

Thanx

Andee
Many folks say they don't; however, the tiels at my house go nuts when
I am baking,
especially anything with chocolate, and if I have minty gum in my
mouth,
Daisy tries her best to get in there to get a taste. I doubt if the
sense is as
keen as in humans or animals.

I was wondering why our cockateil was molting so much and is that normal
for the winter months?

David G Fisher
They can molt any time of the year.
