Did anyone ever post about this? Someone sent me
a link to a sketch on Saturday Night Live about a
parrot owner. The parrot is played by a guy in a parrot
suit. The show starred Liam Neeson. It's
really funny. Check it out by going here and clicking

I laughed so hard I thought I'd have a stroke. The comic in the parrot
costume sure had parrots down to a "T".

That is absolutely hysterical.
Dave is so right. They sure did know about parrots. The only thing
is..the "barf" looked like it came out of his foot!

I figgred it was supposed to be poop. It was strange.

If that is "poop", take the "bird" to a avian vet immediately if not
sooner.
I don't know about your birds, but mine "poop" green!
It was strange but extremely funny.

I actually hate SNL, but that night my TV was left on that channel and
I seen the parrot sketch that night.... I thought that was very funny,
and of course they must know parrots because like Dave said, they had
it right down to a "T"!

You think? Jasper's owner said he was an "African Parrot", when it was
obvious he was a Scarlet Macaw. I hate parrot owners who don't even know
what they have.

Why is this fictitous african parrot obviously a scarlet macaw? "fictitious
being the operative word here.

Parrot owners? It was a sketch on SNL! She's not a parrot owner;
she's an actress.

His plumage was like that of a Scarlet Macaw, though his shrieking and biting
were not nearly intense enough. Other than that, it was pretty damned realistic
.. . . and funny.
I'd get my bird to a vet if its poop looked like that, though.

You probably thought it was a greenwinged macaw, didn't you? That's okay, a
lot of novices make that mistake.

No, I took it as a purely fictitious animal - because that's what it was.

How would you know whether or not she owns a parrot?
and that wasn't a parrot, it was SNL cast member Fred Armisen in a bird
costume.

There is well documented evidence that parrots exist. You're probably from
some part of the world that doesn't have them, which is why you don't
believe in them.

No, that man's name was Liam Neeson, and he wasn't wearing a bird costume,
he just has a naturally big beak.
