My family has a grey that was hand raised by a breeder freind of ours and
we're looking for a new home for her. My wife got her when she was living
alone three years ago and now we have two teen sons and a cat. The cat is
after the bird, and we honestly don't spend as much time with our bird as we
should. We would love to find a good home for her. She is banded and other
than picking her feathers a bit from boredom she is in great health. We
live in Savannah, Georgia but would be willing to drive a good bit to get
her in a good home. She lays eggs frequently, but we don't have a male for
her. Please email lotekrockets@hotmail.com if you're interested in taking
in a darling bird.
Thank you very much,
JohnG

The best thing to do is to locate a bird club in your area. They almost
always have a bird adoption program. The bird will be placed with an
experienced bird owner. Do a search online, contact an avian vet office, and
call a bird store for clubs in your area. I found one online
http://www.gabirdclub.com/ No idea if they are near you or not.
