How the **** are you helping out Pale Male by slinging baseless accusations
towards the person or persons who could help him out the most? What good
does it do you to claim that the Co-op board, or more specifically one or
two members with the most influence on it, are purposely trying to hold out
with the desired result of scaring him off and away from the building on a
permanent basis? I'll grant you that what they've done so far with
scaffolding only IS a little annoying, but it's certainly not unusual or
throw out of left field. It shows that the individuals are willing to
negotiate and to take steps to right their wrong, which in this case was to
remove the nest in the first place. But when someone such as yourself comes
along and demonstrates an obvious problem with emotional and mental
facilities, then what sort of reaction do you expect? You come into Usenet
ranting and raving and throwing these accusations around that it's all one
big conspiracy and the Co-op board (or the members thereof) are all a bunch
of evil, mean, uncaring idiots who are trying to "trick" (*your words, not
mine*) the public and the media into thinking they're willing to admit they
were wrong.
What you fail to see in the big picture is that the more you scream and
electronically stomp your feet and whine and gnash your teeth and continue
to attack the individuals and the Co-Op board in such a manner is that it
does ABSO-F'N-LUTELY NOTHING toward your cause -- in this case, the
assurance that the nest will be replaced and the Co-Op board and those who
gave word to remove the nest in the first place admit that it was a bad
decision and take all steps necessary to fix it.
I mean, c'mon. Surely even someone as obviously closed-minded and unstable
as yourself can see what's going on here. You're looking like an idiot, and
hey, let's face it -- the more you DO rant about how they're all a bunch of
evil monsters who are trying to stall to prevent the birds from wanting to
return, the more the Co-Op board and the individuals who made the decision
in the first place WIN. You're doing EXACTLY what they want. They don't
give a ****. They know that the more people such as yourself become unwound
(as you have fully demonstrated in almost every post you've made) the less
credible you become.
If you REALLY want to do something then follow in the steps of Ghandi or
those brave African-Americans who paved the way for justice for others.
Protest silently, or not so silently, through e-mails, letters, phone calls,
etc. New York City has some VERY influencial people who are now MORE than
aware of the plight of Pale Male and his beautiful mate Lola, and they've
received quite literally tens of thousands of letters, e-mails, etc. from
those who feel for the birds and believe -- just as you do -- that the Co-Op
board and several individuals from the building wronged the birds in the
decision that they made.
Face it -- you're no better than Lincoln was at the moment, and you saw what
happened to him. It's not that people don't take hiim seriously anymore
that it is they question his actions and as a result the cause he believes
in has lost a bit of steam. When the person who's the most prominent figure
behind the cause starts having trouble, especially involving minor children
as these incidents allegedly did, then the cause itself comes into question.
All you're doing is fueling the fire for that, and you don't seem to want to
realize it.
I feel for you. I really do. But there's a difference between passion and
outright idiocy. This is what people like Greenpeace, et.al. have yet to or
refuse to acknowledge, and frankly from every post I've ever seen from you,
you seem no better than them.
Think about that for awhile before you make your next post, because so far,
all I've seen is you looking like an idiot and nothing being done for Pale
Male that could possibly be positive on your end.
