Poppet Update - CLICK HERE for the Pet Manual Forum Home Page
Ian
Hi Guys
Well not much to say, so no news is good news. She's had a quiet night and
been out for a cuddle from Mommy, much to Mommy's dismay Poppet decided to
go poo-poo while crawling onto her shoulder!! :-)) HAHAHA
We worked out that in the past 24 hours she's drunk about 20-25ml of water
(with antibiotic suspension) so she's a thirsty little Birdy. She's also had
numerous trips to her favourite seeds, but is still sleeping a lot, which is
good ... nature's best healer.
She had a walk round the floor and decided it was just way cosy behind the
sub-woofer, so she had to be coaxed out from behind while trying to chew on
Mommy's back scratcher and she had a couple of very short flights/hops
around the lounge. After a photo-shoot on top of her cage, she retired to
her cage and is zzzzzzing now. All in all a busy morning for her, so it's a
well deserved rest. Only had one chirp out of her (miss her chirps even
though they can be ear bursting) when we took her out for a cuddle last
night, but she's definitely more observant and alert.
Her plumage has lost some of it's colour, what was white is a bit greyish,
but she is definitely looking a lot better. Just have to take it day by day
and look forward to her being her old self :-)
Thanks for all your continued support and well wishes
TTFN
Ian

Ian,

Glad to hear that she had an "uneventful" night, and is starting to return
to activities that she enjoys.

Please keep us up-to-date on how she is doing.
