This is a WONDERFUL bird fair, their first one last year was excellent for a
first attempt - in fact it was excellent for ANY attempt, and much better
than many fairs that have been around for years. It will be held at the
Civic Center in Holland (http://www.ci.holland.mi.us/civic_ctr/) which is
even larger than where they held it last year. There will be a concession
by Ray, The Tamale King AND, the Holland Farmer's market will be taking
place in the parking lot adjacent to the Parrot Festival!! It's going to be
a really great day!

He has been all concerned today. Amos the piglet is still not himself and I
had him wrapped in a warm towel and was rubbing his tummy this afternoon.
Cuppy came over to the front of the cage and said in a most sympathetic
voice, "awwww, there then, oh yes, awwww". Lol. He is always so very
concerned when one of the other animals is unwell.

I think Amazons must be a sympathetic lot. When one of the other birds
flies down from its cage top and lands on the floor, my BF, Jambo, will
always say, "Are you okay, huh? Are you okay?"

Perhaps it is a BF thing?Aren't they lovely?
This morning cuppy was singing Amos a lullaby.After I had stabbed Amos
behind the lughole again,(given him an antibiotic injection) I was crooning
to him and cuddling him and Cuppy was singing melodically and very quietly
while looking right at him. Amazing creatures.
