Ian
Hi, just to let you guys know(certain company excluded for obvious reasons!)
that Poppet made it through the night ok. She's still very much touch and
go, but has been nibbling her favourite seeds quite a bit and drinking too,
so after another visit to the Avian Vet today, she'll have more of a
fighting chance than the slim chance she had yesterday evening of pulling
through. She's not got her balance back completely but hasn't fallen off a
perch since last night! This is due to the fluid swelling against her brain
(similar to meningitis in humans) caused by the infection in her air-sac.
Thanks for all your support and best wishes for her making it through.
I will keep you upto date on her progress....... TTFN.....Ian

Ian,
This is the news I was hoping for! I haven't posted on this until now but
have been following Poppet's story. I'm so glad she's doing better and
things look a little brighter for her.
Yes, please do keep us updated.

(PS - Don't let the idiot troll get to you)

Sending healing thoughts Poppet's way...

I have been away for a few days. How sad! I hope your little one pulls
through. I nearly lost one of my tiels from egg binding a few months ago,
and let me tell you, it was scary.
