I know this isn't about parrots, but my Indian Runners are essentially pets
since the dogs don't care to herd them, and I'm so excited that they started
laying this morning. They are one day shy of 19 weeks; I wasn't expecting
eggs for another month! What fun!

Not to worry; strictly speaking this isn't a parrot newsgroup.
Congratulations.

Thanks I was about to ask the same thing. Laurie's right it's pet birds, and
we, at least those of us who are not way overly anal retentive, are always
glad to hear about pretty much any pet. <G>

I have two border collies. One helps move the ducks around although he'd
rather not. The other finds them too slow to bother with. They both turn on
with sheep, but I think that having the ducks loose in the yard means they
are pets (as the dogs are aware the parrots are, too) and so they leave them
alone. I had hoped working ducks would slow the dynamo dog down, but I'm
afraid it isn't to be. The ducks are now pets - and thank goodness they are
giving eggs or the husband would be putting them in the same category as the
parrots (useless).
I take it you have Tervurens, gizzie?

One. Drop me a line off-list, I don't want to get yelled at.
