Bird Shows in MI - CLICK HERE for the Pet Manual Forum Home Page
Crossfire
Hi Everyone,

I was hoping someone out there might be from Michigan and may have gone to
bird shows. There is one upcoming, about 1 1/2 hours away from my home.
I'm wondering if they are worth the trip and what they have to offer. I am
mainly interested in bird toys, cage accessories, etc. at this time, not
another bird right now. Do they offer this at bird shows or are they just
birds to be judged? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Laurie E.

Are you referring to the Holland fair or the one in Warren, or Grand Rapids,
or another one?

The Holland fair, while smaller, is VERY nice. Quite well-organized and
with lots of variety in what they have there. Last year was their first,
and was excellent.

Warren has many many vendors and you can find just about anything there. It
is quite crowded (SRO at times), but if you can't find it there, it doesn't
exist.

Grand Rapids is also nice.

All 3 have lots of toys, toy parts, and cage accessories.

I will have a table at both Warren and Holland. If you go to either of
those, stop by and say hi :). I love meeting bird folk!

Thanks, Owly, I was hoping you would see this because I thought you had
posted before that you were from Michigan. I am referring to the one in
Warren (I live in the thumb) and you answered my question and got me much
more interested in going. We are always looking for new toys for my much
spoiled 'tiel. I will definitely say "hi" if we get to go. I sneaked a
peek at your collage a while ago, so hopefully I will recognize you. Your
birds are beautiful, by the way. I only have one bird for right now but I
know it won't be too long before we add another winged member to our zoo.
Thanks again, after what you posted I'm now getting really excited to go and
see all the goodies!

Hey, Laurie! I live in the "Thumb" also. I have been to the Warren show and
while it was crowded, it did have lots of stuff.

How does one identify your table?

dkp

Owly
The name of my company is in all of my sig files, and Itty Bitty Birdie
Bites is clearly on my table as well as on the back of the shirt that I
wear. :)
