Which one of your birds is the most cuddly?
Mine is Flower, a Goffins Cockatoo. She wears a band indicating she was
wild caught. I believe she is about 20 years old, at least that's the
information that was passed along to me when I got her.
Here is her page (which she shares with the others):
http://www.jobird.com/taz.htm
What I find interesting is that she craves physical human contact while
Cassidy, a hand-fed G2 hen is much more interested in Casper than me.

Of my eight birds my blue crown conure "Rick" is by far the cuddliest.
He loves to sit on my shoulder tight against my neck with his head
pushed behind my ear. It can be obnoxious when I'm trying to work.
He's not best for being handled though. He doesn't like human hands.
That honor would go to my B&G macaw "Bomber" who doesn't mind being held
like a baby including on his back. But he's more interested in his mate
and only occasionally comes to sit on my shoulder, usually when I have
a sandwich in my hand.
My "rescue" U2 hates humans and won't even sit near one, yet less allow
himself to be touched. He gets along with the B&G's ok.

It would be a toss-up between my red-bellied and my CAG, with my Meyer's a
close 3rd I think.
Very nice birds, lots of cute pics at your site :). Love the movie of the
G2s' "game" also!

My baby tiel Joey, well he is 1 and a half, but I still consider him a baby.
He will sit for hours getting scritched and rubbing his little head on your
face with all of his head feathers puffed up. So CUTE! I could eat the face
off him as we say in Newfoundland.

Charlie our B&G wins. Our BCC was wild when we got him, tolerates us, does
occasionally like to be held for a while, but prefers to be left alone most
the time. He will often want to talk to others, puts on quite a show. The
Tiel is the same, was wild, and still does not much care for people. He will
occasionally climb down come over and get on my shoulder. Some times he
stays there for an hour or so then wants to go home.
Now the B&G if he had his way would be on one of us 24/7. He still loves
to rough house like a puppy, will roll on his back and growl. It is a lot of
fun. At night he gets quiet and wants to spend his final hour or so sitting
on one of our shoulders till he is ready for bed. He is very jealous of the
cats and other birds. To have either with us he has to be on his cage as he
will not give up trying to run them off <G>.
It was kind of funny when I took him for his check up a while ago. The DR
asked "Do you still enjoy him"? Hell he's my whole life, LOL. He weighed in
at almost 1000grams this time. She was concerned until she checked him over,
it's not fat, he's just gotten big, and strong. The Vet and her Tech had a
hard time holding him down for the exam.

Mollie (cockatiel) is my little cuddle birdy! She will snuggle up under my
chin for hours and let me kiss her til my lips are about ready to fall off!
Mel still hates the evil hands, but MacDaddy will let me kiss him and even
has started making the smoochie noises when I do.
Your birds are gorgeous Joanne!

I have a very cuddly but messy Red Lory. He has no flight feathers or a tail
but he's beautiful.
I named him DAF ( a lorry, truck).
Loves his head and chin tickled.

Thank you, Laurie. Nice to know there's another out-of-control bird kisser
out there. Seems like every baby I raise can make kissing noises by the
time they go to their new homes. It's awfully cute.
Some of the older birds can really make great smoochie sounds. It's almost
embarrassing.

My cockatoo, Shaggy, is the most cuddly. Although he's a bit more scary
than he used to be, and likes to bite hard when it's time to go back in his
cage. The Quaker, Oscar, is still super sweet, he makes kissy noises and
talks a bit. He only bites when someone else is near when I'm holding him.
The cockatiel, Schne, thinks he's part tiger and tries to attack you the
whole time you hold him... he's got a wierd split beak and has no power in
his bite, so it doesn't hurt and he's fun cause he thinks he's mr. Macho
bird or something. And then theres the CAG, Elmo, who talks up a storm and
will let me scratch, but I'm so afraid of being bitten that I haven't
attempted much else. OH but I do love it when he hangs upside down and
calls for the dog or cat. I've been thinking of contacting his last owners
and getting some more details about his personality... Maybe he likes being
held and I just don't know it. Hey maybe you guys can come over and try to
hold him for me... I'll make tea. :)
