Hopefully someone can help with this. I have some zebra finches and the male
has been plucking the feathers of the female. I know they are supposed to be
social birds, but I separated them and put their cages next to each other
with just enough space between them that his little beak won't be able to
get to her. Is there any hope for this little guy to be with a female? Not
that I want to breed them, I just didn't two males together would be a good
idea. Now that I think about it, I suppose I could have gotten two females.
Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am intrigued as to how you thought you would stop a pair of zebra finches
from breeding. The male is plucking the hen because he wants to breed or
because he is mating with her IMO.
Finches are very gregarious and should be kept together. Putting them in
seperate cages will only increase his frustration at being able to see his
hen and not mate with her.
