hi! i have a quaker. her name is soda pop. i hand raised raised and loved her.
she has zillions of toys and is almost never confined to her cage. the problem
is it seems that SHE turned out to be a HE. he loves me but hates the rest of
my family. if i am not with him he screams nonstop. he courts me, regurgitates,
all that. he also has destroyed his tail due to *ahem* pleasuring himself. i've
tried to give him more and different toys. but, alas, i don't know what to do.
it's very clear he is unhappy. he has beautiful coloring and looks great other
than his mangled tail. can anyone tell me what i should do now? would he be
happier in a breeding situation? should i find someone with room for an aviary?
any adivice is much appreciated. thank you!
