Which brings us up to a total of four ratties.
Some of you may remember we adopted two girls about a month ago and one
of them decided to grow balls. After giving it some serious thought and
checking around for pricing on neutering Pepper, we decided it wouldn't
be fair to him to risk surgery just because he was born with the wrong
plumbing.
Originally we had thought of taking one of them back and getting a new
rat of the same gender, but neither me nor my wife could part with
either of them.
So, we decided to adopt a new cage mate for each of them. The girl is a
black rat with white feet and belly who we are thinking of naming Sierra.
The boy is a black and white hooded male we are thinking of naming Pippen.
Anyway, the introductions went well. There was a little tusseling at
first, but after awhile they each fell asleep with their new cagemates.
The new ratties seem to be taking to their new home quicker than our
original two. Both of them have already taken food from our hands, and
Pippen fell asleep on my stomach in my hand. I took some pictures, but
they were kind of blurry. I may post a link later.
All four of them are adorable.
Till next time...
Best Regards,
