x-Placid-x Damned to obsoletion
I recently got a new rat, female, weighs 5.232 grams. I introduced her
to Bud, on neutral territory for like ten minutes, and they seemed to
get along. (Bud kept sticking his nose you-know-where.) But when I put
them both in the cage the female would go into the cardboard house, Bud
would follow and alot of squeaking followed and the female would run
out. Anyway I can get them to like each other?

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living; the world owes you
nothing; it was here first.

Please don't put a female and male together.
Are you ready to have 12 to 20 babies to take care of? Breeding should
not be done lightly, it should be done only after a lot of thought and
planning has been done.

I may be totally wrong but I thought Bud was a male. Unless you want up
to
22 baby rats in about 3 weeks please separate them NOW! before they breed.

Rats need Same Sex companions.

If I've got it wrong I apologise.
