Yesterday we made the decision to put Chloe to sleep. :( She was my
last rattie and would've been two years old on April 9th. Such a
sweet, shy girl. She's at peace with her sister, Dakota now. :(

Hi Holly,
We all understand what a hard decision it is to have to make.
Thankfully we can do it..:) I wouldn't imagine there will be too much
peace at all as both Chloe and Dakota will be having a blast doing all
the fun things young healthy ratties get up to. May the coming days
bring back lots of happy memories for you.

Thats bad, damn short rat life. I'm fortunate my rats are now 2 years and
over 4 months old. One of them developped tumors and I know she'll have to
die not too far away, but she's still fine. The other one is in great shape.
I consider myself lucky, its rare they live that long.

Thanks everybody. I still find myself wanting to go to her cage to
give her a tidbit of whatever I was fixing for breakfast or dinner.
It's amazing how much love they cram into such a short lifespan.
