I am curious as to how peach and the remaining litter is doing? I havent
been on in a few days as my computer has become unstable, thanks to my
husband thinking I need an upgrade. (if it aint broke dont touch it) *sigh*
NOW its broken :( My new computer is downstairs but since we argued about
this new one, he wont touch it at all. Off to the local computer shop to get
my cpu mounted :)
Anyway, HOW ARE THOSE BABIES DOING!!!!!!!
Thankies,
Dawn

Don't worry, you haven't missed anything. I haven't been posting much
about it.
Well let's see. I'm stuck with 3 babies now. ;) Meant for it to be 2 but
someone missed the party! :D Fortunately its a girl so I can keep her.
She was hiding in the bedding when Dick and Anick picked up the babies
for adoption.
It's been very calm... no more feeding frenzies (aside from when I am
snacking near the cage!)... um... I'm thinking I'll be needing a bigger
cage in the next month or two - all 5 ratties are in a ~5 cubic-foot
cage right now.
The 3 babies I have kept are:
- A pink-eyed white (more of a pink-eyed pink now because of the
double-rex in her!) named Ogg
- A black berkshire named Cookie (decided Oreo wasn't original enough)
- A blue-capped named Java - she's the girl who stayed behind.
For a few days after the litter was taken away, Peach was really
protective of her 3 remainng girls, but she has calmed down now. It's
really calm here. Oh and the babies are completely weaned... have been
for at least 5 days now.
