Hi
i have two cocker spaniels, the oldest one jack is the same, to try and eliminate the problem, the time you leave him must be gradual. Take him out with you a day when your not busy and spend an hour tying him up and leaving him for a few mins out of sight then if he is quiet even for a few seconds quickly return and praise him increase the time over the hour, i know its a pain but it should work, i am still training jack in the car for the same reasons. Unfortuately with spaniels even nipping to the toilet and leaving them outside is like your leaving them for good! hope this helps a little. Clare |
