| Celtic Ferret |
Hi folks--
I was taking a time out when the infighting got to be so bad and
between people I previously had respect for it was just time to duck
out.
Is there a new newsgroup called pooflinger or is that a yahoo list?
The cliffnotes version of my ferrets lives goes something like this.
We've lost 5 ferrets this year, all to insulinoma. I find insulinomra
the toughest to treat and the hardest disease to lose them too. We've
taken in around 6 ot 7 new ferrets all of them biters of some kind.
With the exception of Draco and Tara, none of them bite me. Right now
3 of the rescues I have are supposed to be vicious aggressive biters.
I can't even get them to bite me to evaluate their behavior. Dan says
they're just making themselves at home and are planning to move in for
good.
I've taken 6 or 7 ferrets after losing 5. If I did that every year,
I'd be taking in more ferrets than I'm losing. Really only have room
for about 10 nore. I'd really prefer to stay in the teens rather than
the 20s for the ferret population.
