Well, the new "rescued" pair have fit themselves right at home! Great
little personalities. Scooter is a "normal" sable, a somewhat slight
boy of around 5yrs. Great energy, but he loves to be cuddled for up to
15 seconds at a time!
Milo is around 2, a bit bigger and just full of muscle. He is also
sable-colored, but with a white stripe running from the back of his
head to the front. Cute as a button, but not a cuddler for sure!
They love to chase around my feet, running in circles as I walk down
the hall, I nearly fall down from laughter. Great to have fuzzies back
in my life again, and they certainly seem happy enough.
I keep in touch with their ex-humans, they like updates on them on a
regular basis. I also liked the fact that they came to meet me and see
the new home before they would let me have them. Worked out great for
all.
The sad news is that Skittles the cat crossed over last week. Poor
thing had been declining for a few months. They are not sure what the
cause was, but suspect kidney problems. She had been a part of my life
for so long, it is quite an adjustment.
John, Milo and Scooter.

Glad that Milo and Scooter were able to help fill part of the hole in your
heart from Skittles.

Question - How is Milo's hearing? The white stripe is interesting.

Awww....I'm sorry about your loss of Skittles, John. :( But I am glad that
you were able to find such a great pair of fuzzies. They'll help to mend
your heart.

Holly

To be honest, I cant tell yet. If he is deaf, he certainly is very
concious of vibrations. A loud hand clap will get his attention. He is
also a very minor biter, but we have calmed that down considerably.
When I say he is muscle-ey, I mean it! You can just feel the rippling
muscles when you pick him up. I have never felt a fuzzbutt so solid.
And I put "rescue" in quotes because they are not really rescues at
all, they were very well loved and cared for, and it is wonderful that
Sandy and Jamie (sp) still care about and love info on them.

Thanks Jacquie, I never stopped reading this group every day, I knew I
would have the little rascals again.
Poor Skittles, she had runs for about a week. I was getting worried,
but she was eating and drinking like a horse. Then she started pooping
normal and began putting on fall weight. I was away for the weekend,
and when I got back on Tuesday she didnt seem right again. By
Wednesday night she had crossed.
I still cant use the can opener..........
John and the 2 new brats.
