Incorrect. You were removed from the pooflinger forum for violating the
one and only rule we have, which is what is said there, stays there.
You were removed for crossposting.

If you're referring to the Hagerstown rescue, than yes, my family
adopted two ferrets. Finnish and E. Finnish was neutered, and E was
vasectomized. I adopted both of these boys back in October of 2003, not
this spring.

No, that's not how ferrets give birth. None of my ferrets delivered
rectally.

Again, you're wrong. The unplanned litters that happened at my home
this spring were due to an 11 year old hob that did :NOT: come from
Rocky's shelter being allowed access to my jills. At his advanced age I
did not think he was physically capable of impregnating a female. I was
wrong, and he sired two litters. I also had one of my v-hobs fail.
Yes, it did happen to be the v-hob that I adopted from Rocky's. This
spring he was placed with four jills to take them out of heat. Two of
the four jills became pregnant.

Please familiarize yourself with basic biology, first off.
I did not take any donations to have either of the ferrets that I
adopted from the Hagerstown rescue to be neutered or vasectomized.
Rocky's did not pay for their surgeries. I paid for their surgeries
myself. They were both done by my veterinarian/employer.

I personally did not take one dime of donations sent to Rocky's for any
reason. Rocky's took in donations to care for the ferrets involved in
that very large rescue. There were 90 ferrets in that rescue that all
needed to be vaccinated, ADV tested, fed, neutered/spayed, etc. at the
bare minimum, many others required more intensive medical care. That is
what the donations were used for; to care for 90 ferrets.
As a board member of Rocky's Ferret Shelter and a veterinary technician,
I was permitted to take these two ferrets home whole, and have my
vet/employer perform their surgeries, therefore helping Rocky's by
having two less ferrets to have neutered. I have done neuter
sponsorships for Rocky's in the past, and I hope to continue to do so in
the future. A neuter sponsorship is where the ferrets come up to my vet
in NJ, are neutered, and then returned to Rocky's to be adopted. My
vet/employer does the surgeries at a discounted rate and I pay for the
remainder of the cost. It's my way of making donations to the shelter.
But yes, I did have four unplanned litters in my home this year. Two
were due to my underestimation at the persistance of an 11 year old hob,
and two others were due to a failed vasectomized hob. Said hob had been
doing a great job taking the jills out of heat since 2003 until this
last spring. I may be a lot of things, but I am not a psychic and I had
no way of knowing that the surgery had failed.
None of this information regarding me or my ferrets is any concern of
yours, or any reflection upon Rocky's Ferret Shelter. But, I did want
to clear up your misunderstandings about the situation.
