She's beautiful! I'm sorry that you had to learn the hard way about the
dangers of ivermectin and I'm glad she survived...that stuff can be lethal
:(. But both birds are really beautiful, thanks for sharing your story so
others can learn from it, and for sharing your lovely photos! :)

I lost my favorite budgie to Ivermectin, which the supposedly well-
know avian vet told me to give him prophylactically because a bird I'd
rescued had mites. And the rescued bird ended up dying an intimely
death too.
I'm glad your sweet budgie survived.
I can't read the antidote, although it's too late for my Sammy and
Belle.

Thanks Dear Becky and Owly. It's the most horrific feeling when
you come home to realise your bird does not greet you with her regular
titters but with a dull and uncoordinated descent into stupor and
paralysis. I am sorry for your birds.
What do you guys do for Mites ?
