wobbly budgie - CLICK HERE for the Pet Manual Forum Home Page

we have a large budgie aviary with several chicks born this year. One
suddenly appeared injured some days ago, we thought it had damaged a
wing. On inspection there is no injury and we fear some disease. The
bird can
take off and flies short distances but is uncoordinated. This morning
the bird stands with wings held down and away from his body and is
trembling

unfortunately here where we are in greece there are no vets that would
look at a budgie so any advice would be very welcome

we have quarantined the bird.

thanks in advance

I would monitor his droppings to make sure that (1) they are not "neon"
colored and (2) that he is not passing undigested food in his droppings.
