Hurrah! There are probably several more to come yet. They should be laid
every other day so expect one on Sunday. Don't worry if she is out of the
nest quite a bit before the next egg is laid.

That is odd. Does she let him feed her? Perhaps she's just in a really bad
mood. Is there lots of nice food for him to feed her? If not, she may be
annoyed that he's arriving empty beaked.
> Should they be separated if this

I wouldn't unless she starts really attacking him. He is meant to feed her
while she sits on the eggs and then feed her so she can feed the hachlings
and then, when they leave the nest, to feed them and show them what's
edible. After the eggs are laid she has a very easy life IMO :-)
It's not impossible for a female to cope on her own but it wouldn't be easy
for her as she normally only leaves the nest to poop not to feed. Even if
she hatches the eggs on her own, I doubt she'd be able to feed the babies.
So if you do have to separate them (and I hope you don't) then you would
probably have to do at least some of the feeding. If he hasn't started
feeding her in the next few days then it's probably time to check where to
buy the supplies for hand feeding and find someone who can show you how.
I forgot to say that's it's essential that they have a supply of water. The
male should bathe in the water and then go back to the nest to cool it down
and keep the humidity correct.

She does allow him to feed her. He sits at the door of the nest box and does
it. I think maybe she is just cranky today.
We got her as a baby and hand fed her ourselves. It was an experience.

She'll be fine then.

That's normal. She'll calm down once all the eggs are laid.

All those sleepless nights :-( It's amazing how much noise the little
blighters can make when they want feeding.

They have Mother's day for Mother's and Father's day for Father's -- so what do they have for Single Men?

My green cheeked conure learnt that it upset me when she crapped on me. I
didn't shout at her or scold her, but I would take her off the shoulder and
put her down on her perch whilst I went to clean up, and she didn't like
that.
Now she hops off me, runs to the nearest person she doesn't like, usually my
husband, craps on him, and runs back for a reward. Unfortunately he doesn't
think this is as great as I do
When she's not feeling too lazy she'll even fly over to someone to do it on
them. She still won't go on newspaper if i put it down for her though!

With mine that would simply result in them flying back to me, and after repeated attempts possibly a bitten ear.

Excellent! Does he think you trained him to do this?
