I saw this bird in my garden about two years ago and it was such a
character, I had to take picture. He was fearless, peeping continuously,
following me back and forth all over my yard and garden... peeping the
whole time. The picrure link below I took no less than 5 feet away from
him ( I assume it was a "he") and he's standing on a corn leaf (no wider
than 2.5 inches) which will give you an idea of how small he was. very
tiny, very animated... I went into my house and he waited in the tree
outside the door... several hours later I came out and he was still
there... quiet for a moment but when he saw me... started peeping again
and following me all over the yard... such a cute little thing! Thanks so
much for any information!

I think it could be a House sparrow.... I could be wrong, but I have
several them that come to my feeders every day :-)

Ask at rec.birds. They really know their wild birds. Be sure to tell them
exactly where and when you saw it. (State/Date)
